• Hand-gun restrictions would not put extra strain on individual privacy laws

• Hand guns account for the majority of violent deaths in America. Between 1962 and 1994, more than one million Americans died in firearm homicides, suicides, and unintentional shootings. Handguns were involved in more than 650,000 of these fatal deaths.[1]

• Hand-guns can be carried on one's person, and thus have a unique and valuable protective capacity Banning handguns would only provide criminals with the advantage as black market weapons would be abundant.
