Debate: Should drug-addicts be able to buy/own syringes without prescriptions?
From Debatepedia
[Edit] Background and contextIt is common in many countries, such as the United States, that restrictions are placed on the ability of individuals to purchase syringes without prescriptions. But, many believe that drug-addicts should be able to purchase them without a prescription, over-the counter, because, the argument goes, this will help reduce the sharing of used-needles and the spread of diseases such as HIV/AIDS between drug-addicts. |
