  • "Why Cannabis Must Remain Illegal". Drug Watch International. January 12, 2002 - "If the judicial system is being overloaded with cannabis cases and the police are complaining about the paperwork, then we should be looking at special courts that will direct these people towards treatment in the case of non-violent offences. Treatment must be readily available, especially in the case of young teenagers, to avert serious addiction and cannabis psychoses. Support must be offered to parents and schools. Police Juvenile Diversion Programmes should be strengthened. This will have a knock on effect in reducing road accidents that occur as a result of cannabis stupification."
